Ashley Camden, Registered Behavior Technician

Ashley is a Registered Behavior Technician and has a Bachelor's degree in Child Development with a minor in Sociology and a post baccalaureate degree in Child Life.

Ashley has a wide variety of experiences working with children. She taught preschool and kindergarten for eight years and has worked in the child life field as a volunteer, practicum student, and currently a child life assistant a few hours a week at St. Louis Children’s Hospital as well. Her volunteer experiences included working with children in general pediatrics, emergency department, and a St. Jude Affiliated Outpatient Clinic.

Ashley lived in Cape Town, South Africa for a month while working throughout a variety of units as a child life practicum student in Children’s Hospital‘s including an orthopedic children’s hospital to provide normalization and care to young children. She is certified by the International Trauma Training Institute in Child and Adolescent Trauma. She holds credentials in Gateways to Opportunity: Infant/Toddler (level 4) and Early Childhood Education (level 5) in the state of Illinois.


In her free time, Ashley loves reading, pilates, hiking, indoor rock climbing, bike riding, and spending time with family and friends.
