Brianna McCarthy, Speech Language Pathologist
Brianna is a certified Speech-Language Pathologist with three years of experience evaluating and treating individuals with developmental disabilities. She was granted a Bachelor of Health Sciences from the University of Missouri-Columbia in 2019 and a Master of Speech-Language Pathology from Rockhurst University in 2021.
Brianna’s interests are prevention by education and empowering individuals and families using evidence-based, client-led therapy techniques. Brianna is a member of the American Speech-Language and Hearing Association, licensed in the state of Missouri, and basic life support certified.
She has experience working with individuals with complex communication needs (including AAC, sign, and PECS users), working with individuals with a variety developmental disorders and delays, behavioral management, and speech sound disorders.
Her areas of expertise include working with individuals with autism, alternative and augmented communication, and managing behaviors by providing tools for communication.
