Elizabeth Gannon, MOT, OTR/L

Elizabeth is an Occupational Therapist. She graduated from Missouri State University with her Masters in Occupational Therapy. During her time as a student she was awarded the Chakraborty Pioneer Award, served as the service chair of the student Occupational Therapy Association and as an Student Ambassador for the Occupational Therapy Program at MSU. She obtained the knowledge to assist during mealtimes based on attendance in the following feeding workshops: Transdisciplinary Effective Assessment and Treatment and the Get Permission Approach to Anxious Eaters, Anxious Mealtimes.

Elizabeth exudes positivity, creativity, and a passion for serving others. This is clearly visible in her therapeutic practice and encounters with the families she serves, Her strong desire to enhance the functional skills of young children so they may fully participate in current and future life activities directly embraces the core values at Blue Stars Therapy. Elizabeth had experience working in a school setting with children with autism, cerebral palsy and developmental delay. Elizabeth holds the following credentials. 


  • Bachelor of Science in Biological Sciences 

  • Masters in Occupational Therapy

  • She is a licensed Occupational Therapist in Missouri 

  • She has received training in the Early Start Denver Model to fidelity 

  • She is a Missouri First Steps Provider 

  • She is certified member of the National Board for Occupational Therapy

  • She is a member of the American Association for Occupational Therapy
