About the Role
The RBT works with the transdisciplinary team of professionals to provide clinical services for children with autism spectrum disorder and related developmental disabilities. The RBT is responsible for implementing treatment plans designed by the therapy team and collaborating with the Speech Language Pathologist, Occupational Therapist, and Board Certified Behavior Analyst on the team. The RBT maintains a weekly billable caseload of service hours and helps to create and maintain the positive and solution-oriented culture within a rapidly growing small business. This is a unique position to work closely with colleagues and acquire training to fidelity in the Early Start Denver Model.
Requirements
Candidate Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in a related field (special education, child development, early childhood education, Occupational Therapy, Speech Language Pathology, etc.)
Preference given to candidates with an RBT certification and experience
Preference given to candidates pursuing a Master’s degree in a related field
Preference given to candidates with a foundational knowledge of and experience with the Early Start Denver Model
Access to transportation preferred. Require a valid drivers license & car insurance
Responsibilities:
Implement individualized goals, objectives and behavior support plans for home and community-based programs
Deliver high quality evidence-based treatment interventions
Conduct regular caregiver and/or teacher consultation
Meet regularly with team and identify issues impacting client’s progress and satisfaction
Complete all necessary documentation in a timely and satisfactory manner as requested by company policies
Maintain billable caseload and document billable hours according to the Blue Stars Therapy policy and state and federal regulations
Participate in a three-month training in the Early Start Denver Model
Engage and align with the Blue Stars Therapy mission, vision, and values
