About the Role

Upholding the mission, values, guiding principles and Early Start Denver Model of practice used at Blue Stars Therapy, the role of the Manager in the Training and Management area of the business is to oversee the area of Training and serve as a manager to 5+ direct reports. Maintains clinical focus, while staff focus increases to meet business needs. Managers are responsible for up to 5 direct reports (or more as business needs dictate) and are key decision makers in hiring, firing and salary negotiations for direct reports within their area.
The Manager oversees the coordination and implementation of initial onboarding, orientation, training and ongoing staff professional development. Their primary role is to provide direct reports and Trainers with necessary support to advance Trainer skills while monitoring, coordinating, delegating, and/or providing ongoing employment support and training to staff. Primary person responsible for oversight of direct support staff performance and fidelity, as well as professional development. Conducts performance review meetings and reports directly to Sr. Managers or Directors.

Using the Early Start Denver Model, we provide specialized Behavioral Therapy, Speech-Language Therapy, Occupational Therapy, in the home, school, remote environments, and at our center-based program, The Blue School.
