Kathryn Kendzior, M.A., CCC-SLP
Kathryn graduated with a Master’s degree in Communication Sciences & Disorders from Saint Louis University in 2018 and a Bachelor’s in Speech & Hearing Science from University of Illinois, Champaign-Urbana in 2016. She joined the Blue Stars Therapy team in 2021 and has previous experience working with children with diverse diagnoses and abilities from infancy through teen years.
Kathryn completed her clinical fellowship working in Chicago providing early intervention services in home and daycare settings as well as evaluation and treatment of students in elementary & high schools across the city. Individual and group treatment interventions were provided in the areas of expressive & receptive language, fluency, articulation, phonology, feeding, alternative & augmentative communication (AAC) and social skills.
After moving to Saint Louis in 2019, Kathryn continued gaining clinical knowledge through her work in Saint Louis Public Schools and outpatient clinics. She loves working in pediatric therapy with children who have a variety of diagnoses such as autism, speech & language disorders, childhood apraxia of speech, intellectual disabilities, down syndrome, fetal alcohol syndrome, cleft lip and palate, and voice disorders. She is passionate about collaborating with families, teachers, and other providers to support children’s communication in all environments.
