Leslie Moore, Board Certified Behavior Analyst

Leslie is a Board Certified Behavior Analyst and joined the Blue Stars Therapy Team in January, 2021. She graduated from William Jewell College in December 2014 with a B.A. in psychology.

She loves kids and always wanted a career that involved them in some way. Originally, she wanted to work with children who had been abused and discovered ABA accidentally. She started working as an RBT in a clinic-based setting with kids between the ages of 3-6 who had been diagnosed with autism. She saw the difference she was making their lives, but also the difference they were making in hers. She decided to pursue becoming a Board Certified Behavior Analyst. She received her M.A. in Applied Behavior Analysis in December 2017 from Ball State University. She has previous experience using the Early Start Denver Model and saw the impact it had on not only the children but their families as well. After a few months of using traditional structured learning sessions, she missed being able to focus on child-led teaching and empowering families, which is what led her to Blue Stars Therapy.

Leslie enjoys spending her free time traveling with her friends, watching movies, and spending time with her family and Cairn Terrier.
