Amanda Wingertsahn M.A., CCC-SLP, ESDM Certified 

Amanda is the co-owner, co-founder, and Executive Director of Clinical Services for Blue Stars Therapy, LLC.  

 

Amanda’s passion for helping others combined with her enthusiasm for working with young children as a speech language pathologist serves as the cornerstone of Blue Stars Therapy standards and values.

 

Amanda’s desire to change the delivery of therapy services into a delightful and positive experience for children and families has proven beneficial for her clients. Her easygoing nature has yielded effective results for the children on her caseload as they move further on their educational careers.

 

Amanda received a Bachelor of Science degree in Speech Pathology and Audiology from Ball State University and a Master of Arts degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders from Saint Louis University. She holds the following degrees and credentials:

Amanda has experience in various areas of speech and language disorders, including apraxia, articulation deficits, ADD, ADHD, auditory processing, augmentative communication, developmental delays, and social and behavioral deficits.

 

Amanda’s areas of special interest include treating children with autism, global language delays, articulation concerns, phonological disorders, and children with limited social skills and behavioral difficulties.

 

Amanda’s proven clinical experience and formidable knowledge base is the result from working in the public school system, early intervention, childcare settings and home settings in various locations throughout St. Louis city and county and delivering services across a variety of ethnicities and socioeconomic statuses.
