Home & Community Based Services
Our Service
This was the first service we offered at Blue Stars Therapy and continues to be arguably the most crucial to the therapeutic process. As part of our ESDM services, our therapists will collaborate with you daily to provide therapy in the most natural environment. Many routines within your child's typical day can serve as development enhancing opportunities, which increases the number of learning opportunities throughout the day and promotes more functional application of skills. Home-based services provide opportunities for caregivers to be involved in the sessions by observing the therapy and learning interventions, which they can carry out when the therapists are not present
Our team is dedicated to adapting therapy to meet your family's lifestyle. There is no pressure to hurry up and feed or dress your child before therapy. We can help with this, and show you how much learning happens in these routines. Don't' cancel your plans for therapy! Let us support you in the community through challenging errands or outings, such as navigating the grocery store or playdates at the park or library.

The Blue School™ Program
The Blue School program is a preschool readiness program and utilizes the principles of the Group Early Start Denver Model (G-ESDM), while continuing to provide 1:1 support to each child in the group setting. The G-ESDM has been validated by research to produce significantly higher gains in developmental rate and receptive language compared to other group intervention programs in the community. The Blue School provides a safe, controlled environment to stimulate your child's learning across classroom routines and play, and introduce social skills in a predictable purposeful way to ensure success for your child.
The Blue School™ Program offers:

Weekly Home/Community Visit opposite attendance (two hours)

Children enrolled in this program incur a monthly private tuition fee (not covered by/separate than insurance), with limited income based scholarships available. Insurance funding can be used to cover or partially cover direct therapy services.

Hours of Operation
Monday – Friday Mornings (8:30am-12:30pm): Five half days totaling 20 hours/week + 2 hours in home/community session weekly
OR
Monday – Friday Afternoons (1pm-4pm): Five half days totaling 15 hours/week + optional 2 hours in home/community session weekly
OR
Full Day attendance- this is determine based on medical necessity and funding source. Spots are limited.
*Please note we are not a daycare placement child will be working with a therapist directly for the duration of their time onsite- no naps are offered.

Super Stars Program
This inclusive program is designed for children 3-6 years of age with and without therapeutic needs! This is an excellent program to supplement Early Childhood Education/Special Education placements and bridge the gap into general education settings.
