Kayla Trapf M. Ed., BCBA, LBA

Kayla is a Board Certified Behavior Analyst. She comes from a communications background, but missed working with young children and has since immersed herself into the world of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA). Her background includes working with children ages 18 months-10 years of age and Kayla has several years of experience in the classroom setting. During her time at a local St. Louis County public school, she dedicated herself to uncovering the unique strengths of all of her students. She believes in Blue Stars Therapy's mission to step away from the rigidity of structured learning sessions and emphasize naturalistic intervention and treatment coordination. She brings with her a determination to teach social behaviors through researched based, child-led learning.

  • She holds a certificate in Autism Studies (CAS)

  • She is a licensed Behavior Analyst- State of Missouri 

  • She is a Board Certified Behavior Analyst

  • She has received training in the Early Start Denver Model to fidelity 

  • She is a Missouri First Steps Provider 

 

Kayla is the oldest of seven siblings and has a 1-year old puppy named Olive, who has two different colored eyes. She has been to nine different countries, has seen her favorite band over 20 times, and loves to read.
