Coaching & PEP Policy

Welcome! We're delighted to provide you with our online consultation & coaching services. Before proceeding, please take a moment to review our terms and conditions:

  1. Consultation & Coaching Services and Programs:

    • Our services and programs offers online parent coaching and consultations facilitated by Blue Stars Therapy therapists/parent coaches 

    • Consultations may include information sharing, activity and strategy recommendations, and general and client specific guidance on parenting and child development. 

    • Online consultation, parent coaching sessions or programs, and other online resources that we provide are not a substitute for early intervention, medical or psychological diagnosis and treatment. If you or your child have a serious health or behavioral concern, please see a doctor or other appropriate professional and make online consultation and/or parent coaching sessions as part of a complete heath care program.

    • Our online services are not to be taken as medical advice but as behavioral and developmental information and guidance related to the goals you have for your child and family.

    • Online consultation, parent coaching sessions, and other resources focus on the empirical knowledge and intervention techniques of the Early Start Denver Model (ESDM) for the purposes of infant-toddler learning and the development and effects of early or at-risk autism.

  2. Client Responsibilities:

    • Clients must provide accurate and complete information about the child's medical history and current condition

    • While the ESDM can be used entirely on its own, our services are not meant as a substitute for other early intervention or medical or psychological diagnosis and treatment. We do not diagnose conditions, provide medical treatments, prescribe substances, or interfere with the treatment of licensed medical professionals.

    • Our services may be used with other interventions or treatments, however it is the guardians responsibility to inform the therapist of behavioral, medical, psychological, or alternative therapies in effect for your child and when changes are made to your child's health, educational, or therapeutic programs.

    • It is the user's responsibility to ensure a stable internet connection and suitable device for the consultation, no refunds will be process related to this issue. 

  3. Privacy and Confidentiality:

    • We prioritize the confidentiality of your information. All data shared during consultations is treated with the utmost privacy and in compliance with applicable laws.

  4. Payment and Fees:

    • Fees are clearly stated before purchase and additional fees may accrue for service provided beyond the original purchase plan or service. Prices may vary based on the nature and duration of the consultation.

    • Payments are processed securely through our designated payment gateway.

    • Your personal information may be shared with third-party collection services to retrieve payment. Thank you for your understanding.

  5. Cancellation and Refund Policy:

    • If you are unable to make your appointment and cancel 24 hours or more in advance, we will either reschedule or refund the paid appointment minus a 10% transaction charge. Paid appointments cancelled with 24 hour or more notice must be rescheduled within two weeks of the original appointment to avoid delay of service.

    • Missed appointments, appointments started later than 15 minutes of the original time, or appointments cancelled without 24-hour notice will not be rescheduled or refunded.

    • Cancelled transactions for services rendered will result in a $50.00 fee. Unpaid fees will result in discontinuation of service.

    • In the event of technical issues or unforeseen circumstances, we will strive to reschedule or refund as appropriate.

  6. Code of Conduct:

    • Users are expected to maintain respectful and appropriate behavior during consultations.

    • Any form of harassment or inappropriate conduct will result in immediate termination of the consultation, and appropriate action will be taken.

  7. Disclaimer:

    • While our team strives to provide accurate and timely information, virtual consultations have limitations. In emergency situations, please seek in-person medical assistance.

    • We do not replace the traditional therapist or doctor-patient relationship and recommend regular check-ups with a local healthcare provider.

  8. Technical Issues:

    • We are not responsible for technical problems on the user's end that may affect the quality of the consultation.

  9. Modification of Terms:

    • We reserve the right to amend these policies as necessary and will communicate any changes promptly.
